Main guide
A fire-rated hotel door lock is a card lock that has been fire-tested on a complete door assembly, usually to EN 1634-1, without cutting short the door's fire resistance. The TSE report on the General card lock recorded 36 minutes of integrity and insulation on a timber door set, and that result applies only to the tested configuration.
