A hotel energy saver switch is a card holder by the room entrance that powers selected circuits while a key card is inserted and switches them off after a short delay once it is removed. A DND/MUR panel lets guests signal Do Not Disturb or Make Up Room outside the door, and the doorbell falls silent while DND is on.
